SPEAKING OF PARIS

HOW DO I GET IDEAS FOR A PAINTING?

Waiting for an inspiration

So,how do ideas for any painting come into my mind?From mundane to miracleous...inspiration comes from everywhere-beauty of nature,weather conditions,state of a mind ,every day objects,people encountered or imagined,a sound ,a glance,a fragrance,a piece of music and much more...sometimes from a dream half recalled...

This painting "Encounter in Paris" speaks or rather barks for itself-one of many scenes you can observe on the streets of Paris.

HOW DID I MANAGE TO REMOVE MY FOLLOWERS BY ACCIDENT

Yesterday I was trying to edit settings on my blogs and -Auch!-something happened and the followers dissappeared.

PORTRAIT OF THE ARTIST

A portrait of Argentinian-Canadian artist Hugo Quatrocchi,well known for  his ceramics.Hugo is an amazing multi-talented person wuth a huge heart.When in his twenties,he did some modelling in Rome,Italy.
This is a portrait done from a photo from his modelling days.For a several years he had his own gallery and a shop in Toronto.Known for his warm personlity and charm,he developed a large clientele for his ceramics,including celebrities such Sofia Loren and Susanne Somers.

"TREE OF COURAGE"- PAINTING IN THE BOARDROOM

"Tree of courage" is a large absract painting done in acrylic .The idea for this painting came from an observation of trees in differnt weather conditions.Also exibited in the Masterwoks Museum in Bermuda,now this abstract work is displayed in one of the boardrooms of a reinsuarance company.
